In reply to G. David Frye. Yes, you are correct. NIAID's parent is NIH but that is written poorly. What I meant to speak to was more about Fauci's awareness of the NIH funding of EcoHealth Alliance which surfaced in the email dumps and that he lied to congress about any of those funds making their way to Wuhan. But he doesn't run the NIH.

While I enjoy these posts a lot, this is the second one I’ve read where you mistakenly – and I trust not deliberately – identify Anthony Fauci as the director of NIH. He is not. He is the director of the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

The Director of NIH is Francis Collins.

Speaking of ZX81, we spent an entire night with a friend getting an “A” to walk up the stairs and avoid some “O” barrels a la Donkey Kong. When the sun came out we could not save it on tape-that thing did not work half of the time. Still worth it though, long live Sir Clive!
