It is definitely Einstein. That quote hung on my wall for years. “Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.” I was also skeptical that these were actually Einstein’s words, but a little googling turned up this 1929 Saturday Evening Post article:
