Leonid Brezhnev was General Secretary of the Soviet Communist Party, and led the classless, workers’ utopia from 1964 to 1982.

He loved cars, and reportedly owned 82. He had a penchant for Mercedes and Bugatti’s, frequently racing them through the streets of the village near his Black Sea dacha (that’s Russian for “beachside villa”).
