  1. I think Hedera Hashgraph addresses many of the concerns and solutions discussed in your Deep Dive podcast. As a Distributive Ledger technology it can support independent and decentralized micronets and has the micro payments concept mentioned in Salon #29. Interestingly, although very independent-minded, both Google and LG have been allowed on the board of directors. If you have examined it before, my apologies, but if it is news to you then the following will help:

Mike Maloney’s Episode 8 of “Hidden Secrets of Money” is where I first learned about Hedera Hashgraph in 2018. (It also contains the best graphic-driven explanation of the Blockchain I have ever seen.) To save time though start at 40:51 where the concept of Hedera consensus is explained.

Next is a very recent webinar discussing – in great detail – how Hedera is being used in secure medical records transmission with a remarkable description of theoretical flow allowing a remote Covid-19 diagnosis through prescription and delivery of therapeutics seamlessly connecting myriad providers and entities in the process.

And finally, an exhaustive independent assessment of the Hedera Hashgraph corporate structure and its strengths and weaknesses:
