  1. [09:34.800 –> 09:40.000] But as I said on this podcast before and I’ve said on cbp before the amount of insane
[09:40.800 –> 09:44.080] Privacy encroaching laws that will try to destroy
[09:44.800 –> 09:50.880] Third spaces try to destroy private conversations and in this case try to destroy private life
[09:52.400 –> 09:59.600] Will be unending as long as boomers are voting because boomers are so stupid and detached
[10:00.000 –> 10:03.600] From the realities on the ground, especially when it comes to privacy and technology
[10:03.840 –> 10:07.200] That they will vote for anything that makes them feel good. Even if they have
    [10:08.000 –> 10:09.680] No idea
[10:09.680 –> 10:12.080] What’s in the legislation? It is the MO
[10:12.720 –> 10:14.720] for that group of voters

It seems to me that you are using Boomers as a scapegoat. Well, your assessment of Boomers is not entirely correct especially in the case of yours truly (I was born in 1964).

I used a local copy of Open AI Whisper running on my Debian Bookworm PC to transcribe the excerpt of AxisOfEasy #433 that I pasted above. I own 2 desktops and 2 laptops running either debian 13 or Linux Mint. I have a number of Raspberry PIs running Debian Trixie that I use for various functions in my house. My router runs OpenWrt that I installed and I can program Arduinos in C or Atmel microcontrollers in assembler. I have worked in IT since probably before you were born!

Yes, there are many Boomers who are clueless when it comes to technology, but the same applies to many others who are younger. I would NEVER vote for the bullshit policies that they are trying to force down our throats.

It really doesn’t bother me that much that you bash “Boomers”. I thought you should know that there are some people from this group who are nothing like the stereotype that you assign to them.
